Troy..or is it?

I'm watching Troy at the moment since it's on tv (and since Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom are so hot in this movie), and suddenly I recognize the voice of the guy that plays King Priam, and then it hits me! It's the guy that's the voice of the food critic Anton Ego in the Pixar movie Ratatouille!

Haha man I'm a sucker for animated movies, but what can I say, there's a reason to why they have their own category at the Academy Awards.

FYI

Over all:

Are you most often on time, or late?: I hate to admit it, but I’m almost always late, except for work! I think my friends and family are used to it by now though.. but I still hate it.

What was in most recently in your mouth?: An orange, very exciting.

Are you intelligent?: I’d like to think so. My high school grades were awesome, but I wish I was more street smart.

What do you miss?: High school. I miss seeing my friends every day.

Your favorite drink in the morning: Hot chocolate or juice, but I suck at drinking, I always forget!

What’s your dream job?: Honestly, I’ve no idea what I wanna work with, but as long as I think it’s fun, creative and challenging (and brings in a lot of cash, haha!) I’ll settle for anything.

Are you musical?: I suck at playing instruments, but I’m pretty good at singing! Would love to learn how to play the drums.

Are you spoiled?: My opinion? No! Others? Yes!

Your first…:

Operation: Never had one, and I hope it stays like that.

Piercing: The ears, if that even counts! Think I was around.. 14?

Best friend: tough question.. Can’t really say I’ve ever had a best friend, more like a lot of close friends.

Award: I got an award in 9th grade for good grades and creating a great atmosphere at school! haha.

Sport: Soccer, but I was terrible! Found my passion in dancing later.

Pet: Never had one! My lil’bro and I used to beg and beg and beg for a dog but our parents said no. Which I can understand today, they work a lot and me and bro go to school.

Vacation: I think it was to Paris and Disneyland when I was 6.

Concert: Spice Girls! Hahaha, I was like 10 and saw it with my dad, it was a Christmas gift I think..

Love: Honestly, no love, just a lot of crushes and crashes.

Favourite…

Movie: oh my.. Transformers, Blood Diamond, Crash, The Boondock Saints, SATC the movie, Seven, The Pursuit of Happiness, Wall-E, Madagascar.. I can go on forever.

Tv-show: Friends, SATC, 2 and ½ men, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, The Hills, CSI, Navy CIS, Simpsons.. I love em all!

Music: Almost everything, Coldplay if I have to choose one.

Drink: Cosmopolitan!!

Sport: Dancing

School subject: I liked the most in high school, but I've always hated math, probably because I suck at it ;)

Book: I wish a read a lot more than I do, but I like thrillers and chick lit.

What are you attracted to the most?:

Lips or eyes: Eyes! Gorgeous eyes makes the man.

Hugs or kisses: Kisses, is there anything better?

Shorter or taller: Taller, I want to be able to wear sky high heels and still be shorter ;)

Great arms or great abs: Not necessary, but abs if I have to choose ;)

Hello lover.

I bought a new necklace the other day, very spontaneously. I was just walking around in the store, not really looking for anything, and there it was. I stopped, picked it up, looked at it and realized that I loved it. And guess what? It only cost 49SEK! Crazy cheap and I honestly think it looks a lot more expensive.  (4,5EUR 7,3AUD 6,6USD)

So now it's one of my favourites!

El Clasico

Zlatan scored the first goal in the "El Clasico" game where FC Barcelona meets Real Madrid! I'm so proud of that he's Swedish.

But I'm torn when it comes to choosing which team I should "cheer on".. Zlatan is Swedish, but Cristiano Ronaldo is hot Hot HOT!

3 minutes left of the game and Barcelona will probably win with 1-0.

Song of the month

I want.

iPod nano

I know what I want for Christmas.

Gimme gimme gimme!

I saw the blue and the silver ones today and they were so cool! I will never be able to decide which colour I want.. huge problem, I know.

To keep or not to keep, that's the question..

I did some shopping the other day and two of the things that I got are these from H&M, but I think I'm gonna return them. Don't really known when to use the skirt, and how to use the top.. It's a shame because I like both of them! But I can't keep them just because they're pretty, such a waste of money.

Haha sorry for looking awful! I mean come on, it looks like I haven't slept for days.

No, I'm not missing a hand, it's there, it just fell out of the picture. Looks really weird though..

Happy Birthday

So, Friday I was at work from 10-19, then I went straight to my friend's birthday party, and it was Awsome! They had catered Asian food with sushi, chicken, salmon, nudles, rice, peanut sauce, fruit and it was delicous! The music was so loud, I swear the whole house was bouncing ;) And everyone was wearing different masks and wearing fancy clothes, it was perfect.

And man I'm proud of my mask! It turned out great! Didn't take much time either, and I can definitely wear it to other parties. I really surprised myself, no ♥

I'm dreaming of a white christmas

Look how beautifully decorated one of the streets in Stockholm is! I'm really starting to get in a christmas mood, which is unusual for me, I usually don't feel very "christmasie" until Christmas Eve. I hope it snows a lot this year, snow make the whole feeling complete! But the chances of that happening are very small, nowadays snow doesn't show up until January in Stockholm..

Can't believe that this is my last christmas in Sweden for..god only knows how long. I hope my family visits me next year in Sydney. Spending christmas without my family doesn't feel possible.   ♥

As usual, the pictures are mine, and mine only.

I'm back!

Long time no see! The past 2 days have been crazy, packed with things to do. And when I finally got home I just layed down in the couch, covered myself with blankets and watched all my favorite tv-shows. No strenght for blogging.

Thursday I cleaned the kitchen and did some shopping. Met one of my gal pals at Urban Outfitters and bought a birthday present for the birthday girl, and then I met up with a collegue from work in the evening, had dinner at Blueberry and then we saw "Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky" at the movies. I'm sorry to say this but it suuucked. I mean, yeah it was very pretty and beautiful but so boring! I need action! I don't wanna sit and wait for it to end.. At least it was for free, a little treat from work, and it was a part of the Stockholm Film Festival. Otherwise I would have asked for my money back ;) Or honestly, I wouldn't even have seen it..

Creativity?

One of my gal pals turn 20 on Sunday so she is having a big birthday party on Friday. All the guest are going to put on their fanciest dress/tuxedo and wear any kind om mask.

I'm going shopping tomorrow because, as always for some strange reason (?), I have nothing to wear.
I don't really have a mask either but I'm gonna use my (..nonexistent..) creativity and throw something together using these:

+

It's gonna take a looong time to glue all of those small ones onto the mask, and I will probably end up having half of them glued to my face, but what the hell! If it works out it's gonna look great!

I'll post pictures of it as soon as it's finished, and of the new dress/skirt that I'll hopefully find.

Now, I'm either going to bed, or gonna watch the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy..hmm..tough call..

From Sweden - just like me.

As a Swede (person from Sweden, NOT Switzerland! BIG difference!) , there are a few things that I'm very proud of, and feel that I have to share with you, and make you aware of their Swedish heritage:

  1. IKEA - brilliant concept, stylish furniture to extremely good prices. All the IKEA stores are painted in the colours of the Swedish flag, yellow and blue! So wherever in the world you are (that has an IKEA store), there's a small piece of Sweden!
  2. H&M - same concept as IKEA, but fashion instead of furniture. I don't really know how I'm supposed to survive without H&M in Sydney. Why isn't there a single store in Australia?? Is surf shorts the only thing they wear? ;) Every year, H&M collaborates with a famous, expensive brand and presents a cheap collection in great quality. This year they worked with Jimmy Choo, next is Sonia Rykiel and Viktor&Rolf and Matthew Williamson are two of the previous.
  3. Skype - the founder of Skype is Swedish! How awsome? Skype will be my link to Sweden when I move half way around the world. Can't really afford making $100 per minunte phonecalls several times per week..
  4. Spotify - if you havn't heard of it, you have to check it out! For about $14 per month, you get access to millions of songs, featured in a program that looks very similar to iTunes. There's no advertising and you can create your own tracklists, listen to then whenever you want and share them with your friends!
  5. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - I'm not a huge fan of soccer, but I know that this guy is pretty damn good. Actually, his probably the best Swedish soccerplayer through all time. He now plays for one of the best clubs in the world, FC Barcelona.
  6. Koenigsegg - what can I say? Producer of extremely luxury and expensive cars. I'm like a proud mama.

What women wants

Oh. My. God.

Maybe I should work in male model recruiting?

Yeah, that feels totally right.

From: Missoni, Louis Vuitton, Hermés and Bottega Veneta shows.

I'm in love with all of them. True beautiful love.

Style

Smooooothie

Smoothie for breakfast is awsome.

This one is with yoghurt, pineapple, papaya and mango. Throw everything in the blender, press START and voilá! Super delicious smoothie, and finally some healthy seeds on top!

And of course, the pictures are mine, and mine only.

It's not just fashion, it's art.

I want to buy everything from Givenchy's RTW spring 2010 collection just so I can hang them in my closet and look at them every night before I good to bed. I would dream such sweet dreams.

Fashion is not only about buying and showing, it's art.
I think you can collect fashion in the same way as you collect antiques, stamps, paintings, etc. (you get my point).

If I had the money, I would love to buy haute couture masterpieces. Gucci...Prada...Oscar de la Renta...Marchesa...Marc Jacobs...Louis Vuitton...Versace...Chanel..

That's the dream.
